WHAT DOES AN ELECTRICAL SPOTTER DO?

The ‘No Go Zone’ rules that were introduced by the Victorian Government refer to defined
distances when working near powerlines. When any work is closer than 6.4m, an Energy
Safe Victoria (ESV) Certified Electrical Spotter is required by Law.

Specifically, the role of a Spotters R Us spotter is to maintain a safe approach distance from power assets
and reduce the risk of electrocution, from contact with both Overhead and Underground
powerlines and electrical conductors.
